Jennifer Coonce, M.B.A.

Jennifer Coonce is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the Department of Management at the Spears School of Business. She also serves as the Assistant Department Head of the Management Department. Prior to joining Spears, Jennifer worked in various industries including consulting, technology, finance, and fashion. She started her career in Dallas at KPMG LLP as a consultant in the Information Risk Management Group. In 2000, Jennifer transferred to the New York City office, working with clients such as Pfizer, PepsiCo, and UBS Financial Services. During her tenure, she was quickly promoted to senior consultant and then manager in the Information Risk Management practice. When she left the financial services industry, she joined Dolce Vita Footwear, where she served as the Vice President of Retail, responsible for the operations of five retail storefronts, ecommerce, and the New York offices. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Upon graduation, she was honored with the Koch Industries Most Outstanding MBA Award. She has been recognized as one of 50 OSU MBA graduates recognized in “MBA Preferred – Celebrating 50 Years” and was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the Spears School of Business in 2006. Since joining the faculty at Spears School of Business, Jennifer has been awarded the Engagement of Practice award and the Power of Personal award, which recognize her commitment to sharing her decades of work experience with Spears business students.
