Toby Joplin, Ph.D., C.P.A.
Dr. Toby Joplin is the Chief Operating Officer at CCK Strategies. He is the former director of the OSU Executive Doctoral program in the Spears School of Business at OSU. He is the former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at R L Hudson & Company in Broken Arrow, OK. Toby is the founder of the TaxAlmanac website, which was named one of the Top 50 Uses of the Web in 2005 by Bloomberg Business Week. He has been recognized by many other publications including Time, Forbes and Harvard Business Review. Toby has helped many organizations with their strategic planning, includ- ing R L Hudson & Company; Tax and Accounting Software Corporation; Union State Bank; and Dream Big, LLC. Oklahoma State University named Toby one of 50 distinguished MBA alumni of the last 50 years. He speaks frequently to professional and student groups and consults with orga- nizations on a variety of management topics. His research interests include the effect of excessive entitlement atti - tudes on organizations, the morality of capitalism, and using capitalism to reduce poverty.
