Bryan Edwards, Ph.D. Dr. Bryan Edwards is the Joe Synar Chair and Professor of Management in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University, specializing in human resources management and organizational behavior. Bryan is an expert in selection, training, performance management, leadership, organizational development, and team effectiveness. Bryan has presented on-site programs to the following organizations: Anadarko Petroleum, Oklahoma Healthcare Financial Management Association, Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Nichols Brothers, and ONE Gas. Bryan earned his Ph.D. in I/O Psychology from Texas A&M University and is an active member of Academy of Management, Society for Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Prior to coming to OSU, Bryan served on faculty at Tulane University and Auburn University. Bryan has published numerous articles in the leading management and I/O journals and is associate editor of Journal of Applied Psychology—the leading journal in human resource management. In addition, his research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, Material Handling Industry of America, Department of Defense, and other public and private agencies.
