The purpose of this one-day seminar is to provide business professionals with a comprehensive introduction to the oil and gas industry with a focus on how value is added to the energy value chain. The energy value chain involves the process of linking specific functions from input to output (i.e., from upstream, midstream, through downstream) to enhance the economic value of the business throughout the value chain. As a result, attendees will gain an understanding of how each segment of the energy firm’s activities adds value along the energy value chain. This will also help them better understand their role in the value chain and how it relates to others in their company and the industry. This seminar is sponsored by the Department of Finance and the Center for the Future of Work in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University.
