Coaching with Insight: Leveraging Hogan Assessments to Enhance Leadership Effectiveness Dr. Pearl Sumathi — Assistant Professor of Practice for the Department of Management in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University Effective coaching is a critical leadership skill that drives empowerment, resilience, and high performance. This session equips leaders to adopt a coaching mindset using two powerful tools: the GROW coaching model and personalized insights from Hogan’s psychometric assessments (HPI and MVPI). Participants will learn to use the GROW model to structure impactful coaching conversations, set clear goals, and align individual and organizational objectives. Integrating the Hogan’s assessment provides deep insight into personality traits, values, and motivational drivers, enabling leaders to tailor their coaching style, navigate team dynamics, and lead with empathy and clarity through change.

This session blends structure with self-awareness to help leaders develop more strategic, personalized, and effective coaching approaches.

Participants will complete a 30-minute Hogan assessment prior to the session and are expected to review and bring their results. The workshop is grounded in these insights and includes a high-level interpretation to support personal reflection and application.
